In this beautifully restored Victorian hotel complex, the Bistro at Crowne Pointe offers fine dining and the Shui Spa provides a range of massage and body treatments.

The Crowne Pointe Historic Inn and Spa is actually a complex of six restored buildings with a central patio area boasting a pool and two partially secluded hot tubs. Indulge in afternoon tea or enjoy the wine and cheese socials held in the clubroom in winter and out by the pool when weather permits.

This Select Registry facility is an adults-only luxury resort. A quiet retreat or romantic escape for visitors away from the rest of largely family friendly Cape Cod, the Crowne Pointe Historic Inn and Spa is also close to the activities of Provincetown.

The Rooms at Crowne Pointe Inn

A variety of accommodation choices are found spread throughout the buildings on site. From queen rooms in the Mansion, which also houses the Bistro, clubroom and bar to the two-story penthouse residence, there are choices for most budgets. Many of the rooms offer small decks where it is possible to sit outside and enjoy the fresh ocean breezes.

Fireplaces and whirlpool tubs for two are available in many rooms and guests have unlimited access to the Shui Spa steam room, mineral soaking tub and sauna.

At the end of a day at the beach this is the place for an evening cocktail before heading to the Bistro for dinner. And in the morning, a full breakfast is served in the Bistro or guests can chose to indulge in breakfast in bed as an extra service.

The Bistro at Crowne Pointe Inn

An intimate 30-seat restaurant, the Bistro at Crowne Pointe focuses on health conscious gourmet meals. Chef Amy Howell combines organic produce, fresh herbs, naturally raised meats, local lobster and line-caught fish with lighter sauces and infusions resulting in dishes that are healthy and delicious.

The Bistro has a full bar but its Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list is worth a serious look. Dinner is served Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 pm in winter. Summer hours are more extensive.

Crowne Pointe Inn's Shui Spa

The variety of massage options, facials, body scrubs and wraps offered by the Shui Spa add to the Crowne Pointe Inn experience. Mineral baths and energy treatments including Reiki and Reflexology are also available. Manicure and pedicure services complete the spa options.

The Shui Spa is open daily and reservations are recommended. Appointments can be made on line or by calling 508 487 6767 X525.

Make the Crowne Pointe Inn your starting point for a day at the beach, a whale watch trip or some local birdwatching. Or just stay in and take advantage of all the Inn and Spa have to offer.
